Product Description
Scannable Feature-Bullet Description
For marketplace listings (Amazon, Shopee, Lazada) where shoppers compare tabs, not read prose.
Template
[Product name] — [one-line hook: the single strongest benefit] • [Feature] — [what it means for the buyer] • [Feature] — [what it means for the buyer] • [Feature] — [what it means for the buyer] • [Material/spec detail, e.g. size, weight, capacity] • [What's included in the box, if relevant] Best for: [specific use case or buyer type]
When to use it
Best for marketplace listings where the first few lines above the fold decide whether a shopper clicks — lead bullets with the benefit, not the spec.
Filled-in example
A fictional bamboo travel mug listed on Amazon.
Northway Bamboo Travel Mug 400ml — coffee to go without the leaky bag • Leak-proof screw lid — throw it in your bag without a second thought • Double-walled steel interior — keeps drinks hot on the commute • Bamboo-fibre outer sleeve — comfortable to hold, even with hot coffee • 400ml, 18 cm tall, fits most car cup holders • Includes mug, lid, and a spare silicone seal Best for: commuters who want to stop using disposable cups
How to customise it
- 1.Lead each bullet with the benefit, then the feature that proves it.
- 2.Put the most important bullet first — many shoppers read only the top two.
- 3.Use exact numbers for size, capacity, and weight.
- 4.Check your marketplace’s rules for title length and banned phrases.
Mistakes to avoid
- ✕Bullets that are specs only (“400ml capacity”) with no benefit.
- ✕Unsupported claims like “keeps hot for 12 hours” without testing.
- ✕Promotional phrases (“best seller”, “sale”) that marketplaces prohibit.
- ✕Leaving out what’s in the box.
