Facebook Ad
Social Proof Facebook Ad
For a product with a real number, review, or repeat-customer story to lead with.
Template
"[Real customer quote or specific result]" — [customer name or descriptor, if you have permission to use it] [One sentence on what makes the product worth that reaction.] Join [real number, e.g. "12,000+ customers"] who [outcome]. [CTA, e.g. "See why" / "Try it yourself"]
When to use it
Best when you have a genuine testimonial, review, or usage number to anchor the ad on — skip this template entirely if you'd have to invent the number or quote.
Filled-in example
A fictional candle studio with real customer reviews (quote and numbers are illustrative).
"It's the only candle that still smells like anything after the first week." — Hannah, verified customer Every Fig & Cedar candle is hand-poured in small batches with a high fragrance load, so the scent lasts the whole burn. Join 3,000+ customers who've switched to slow-burning soy. See why
How to customise it
- 1.Use a quote word-for-word from a real review, and ask permission before using a customer’s name.
- 2.Pick a quote that mentions a specific benefit, not general praise like “love it!”.
- 3.Use the explanation line to show why the result in the quote happens.
- 4.Update customer counts regularly so they stay accurate.
Mistakes to avoid
- ✕Inventing or “tidying up” a testimonial — it must be what the customer actually said.
- ✕Using a rounded-up or outdated number.
- ✕Choosing a quote that praises something the ad doesn’t mention.
- ✕Using this template without real social proof — pick the problem → solution template instead.
